Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Similar Song Finder ("the service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Description of Service

Similar Song Finder takes a song, artist, or Spotify/YouTube link you provide and suggests other tracks that sound similar, matched by qualities such as vibe, genre, era, and mood. Recommendations are generated with the help of AI and checked against public music catalogs. You may also arrange selected tracks into a Virtual CD, add a title or note, and share the resulting page. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

Recommendations Are Suggestions

Recommendations are generated automatically and provided "as is" for discovery purposes. We do not guarantee that any result is accurate, complete, available in your region, or suited to your taste. Matching is inherently subjective, and availability on third-party music apps can change.

Third-Party Services and Links

The service relies on and links to third parties — including AI providers, music catalog and metadata providers, and music apps such as Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or terms. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

Virtual CDs and User Content

A Virtual CD is an ordered collection of music references with a title, optional note, and optional occasion supplied by its creator. Similar Song Finder does not upload, host, sell, or transfer the underlying recordings.

Virtual CD links are unlisted, not private. Anyone who obtains a sharing link can open the page. You are responsible for the title, note, arrangement, and links you choose to share, and you must not use them to harass others, disclose sensitive information without permission, or publish unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful content.

You retain any rights you hold in text you submit. You give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, process, and display that text only as needed to operate and share the Virtual CD. We may restrict or remove a Virtual CD when reasonably necessary to operate or protect the service, enforce these Terms, respond to a report, or comply with law.

Anonymous creators must keep the deletion key shown during creation if they may need to remove the CD later or from another device. Losing that key may prevent self-service management. Deleting a CD makes its sharing link unavailable; information about storage retention after deletion is described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, scrape at abusive scale, overload, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
• Use automated means to abuse the service or circumvent rate limits.
• Misuse the service to infringe the rights of others or to send spam, malware, or harmful content.
• Use a Virtual CD title, note, or sharing link to harass, impersonate, threaten, expose private information, or distribute unlawful or infringing material.

Intellectual Property

The service's own design, text, and software are owned by Similar Song Finder and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Song titles, artist names, cover art, audio previews, and trademarks belong to their respective owners; they are referenced and surfaced through third-party catalogs for identification and discovery only. We do not host or sell music.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity performed through your account. Account access and paid benefits are personal to you and may not be sold, shared with another person, automated, or used to circumvent service limits. We may temporarily restrict an account when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, payment disputes, automated use, account sharing, or material violations of these Terms.

Fresh AI Search and Free Use

A Fresh AI Search is a recommendation request that requires us to generate a new set of results. Results already available from our catalog or cache do not use a Fresh AI Search allowance. A request is charged against an allowance or purchased balance only after it returns the minimum number of verified tracks shown on the pricing page. Invalid input, failed generation, automatic retries, and incomplete results below that threshold are not charged.

Free allowances, welcome credits, eligibility rules, and usage limits may change as the service evolves. We will not retroactively remove a paid Search Pack balance or an already-paid Plus period merely because free-use limits change.

Search Packs

A Search Pack is a one-time purchase of the number of Fresh AI Searches shown at checkout. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically. Unless checkout states otherwise, a Search Pack:

• requires a signed-in account;
• expires 12 months after purchase;
• has no cash value and may not be transferred or resold;
• remains available if a Plus subscription is later canceled; and
• does not by itself include ad-free browsing or Plus benefits.

Only successfully completed, qualifying Fresh AI Searches reduce the balance. Provider failures and requests that do not meet the displayed result threshold do not consume purchased searches.

Plus Subscriptions

Founding Plus is a monthly subscription for normal personal use. The price, billing interval, included benefits, and any taxes are shown before checkout. Plus renews automatically each month until canceled.

You may request cancellation from Account → Billing. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not normally end the paid period immediately; Plus access continues through the current billing period shown in your account. Canceling Plus does not remove unused Search Pack searches purchased separately.

“Unlimited” or unrestricted personal-use wording does not permit automated querying, scraping, account sharing, resale, excessive concurrency, or attempts to bypass operational and abuse-prevention safeguards. We may apply reasonable rate, concurrency, security, and cost protections while preserving the paid subscription record and any rights required by law.

Prices, Taxes, and Payment Processing

Prices and currency are displayed before you confirm payment. Applicable taxes or payment-provider charges may be calculated at checkout. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers; we do not store your full payment-card details.

We may change prices for future purchases or future subscription periods. A price change does not alter a completed Search Pack purchase or the subscription period already paid for. Where required, we will provide advance notice before a changed subscription price applies to a future renewal.

Refunds

To request a refund, email contact@similarsongfinder.io from the email address associated with your account and include the order or transaction reference. Requests should be submitted within 14 days of the charge so we can review them promptly. This request window does not limit any longer period or remedy required by applicable law.

• Unused Search Pack: If no search from the purchased pack has been used, an approved refund may return the full purchase price and revoke the pack balance.
• Partially used Search Pack: We do not automatically refund searches that have already been used. We may approve a proportional refund for the unused balance when supported by the payment provider, or another remedy when required by law or justified by a service failure. Any refunded portion is removed from the remaining balance.
• Plus subscription: Canceling prevents the next renewal but does not itself refund the current billing period. Subscription charges are generally non-refundable after the paid period has begun, except for duplicate or unauthorized charges, a material failure to provide the paid service, an approved support exception, or where applicable law requires a refund.
• Duplicate charge or failed delivery: Contact us if you were charged more than once or paid access was not delivered. After verification, we will restore the purchased benefit or arrange the appropriate refund.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method through the payment provider. Bank and card-network processing times are outside our control. Approval of a refund may revoke the corresponding unused Search Pack balance or Plus entitlement. Searches already completed are not restored as reusable credits through an ordinary refund.

Free allowances, free accounts, cached recommendations, and promotional benefits have no purchase price and therefore are not eligible for a monetary refund.

Payment Disputes

Please contact us first if you believe a charge is incorrect. We will review the account, order, delivery, and usage records needed to investigate the issue. A chargeback, reversal, or payment dispute may temporarily freeze the disputed order's remaining benefits while it is reviewed. Duplicate webhook notifications or payment-provider retries will not intentionally create duplicate benefits or duplicate revocations.

Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer rights, cancellation rights, refunds, or remedies that cannot legally be excluded in your jurisdiction.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Similar Song Finder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the service.

Termination

We may suspend or restrict access to the service at any time, including for misuse of these Terms. Ending an account or restricting access does not erase payment, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute records that we must retain, and does not remove refund or consumer rights that apply by law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
